  • Web3 wallet addresses (if you choose to connect)
  • Messages, prompts, and approximate location you provide to our AI features (see Section 4)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our services
  • Process business directory submissions
  • Send important updates about our services
  • Improve user experience
  • Generate responses in our AI features by sharing your request with our third-party AI provider (see Section 4)

4. AI Features and Third-Party AI Providers

Everything Black includes AI-powered features, including the EB Assistant, the “What’s Black Near Me” nearby search, and the AI page creator. When you use one of these features, the content of your request is sent to our secure AI service and, through it, to our third-party AI model provider, DeepSeek, for the sole purpose of generating a response for you.

  • What we send: the messages or prompts you type, and—only for nearby search—your approximate (city-level) location or ZIP code.
  • What we never send: your wallet keys or recovery phrase, your contacts, your photos, or your precise identity. These never leave your device.
  • How it is used: your request is used only to generate the response you asked for. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
  • Your permission and control: these features ask for your permission before any data is sent the first time you use them, and you can withdraw that permission at any time in the app under Settings → AI Assistant.
  • Third-party protection: we only work with AI providers that we require to provide protections comparable to those described in this policy and to process your request solely to deliver the service. You can review our provider’s practices in the DeepSeek privacy policy.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

You have the right to:
